Peter B. Hanson, the father of Katherine “Kay” Hanson O’Malley, passes away at French Hospital in Los Angeles. A graduate of New York Law School, Hanson, 87, was appointed as a judge in the Brooklyn Domestic Relations Court in 1927. He was well-known in Brooklyn for his concern for the welfare of children involved in domestic squabbles.
