Walter O’Malley jots in his personal appointment book, “Jackie Robinson Story — Preview” at “The Preview Theatre, 1600 Bway — 9th Floor”. “The Jackie Robinson Story” movie opened in 1950 and starred Robinson as himself, Minor Watson as Dodger President Branch Rickey and Ruby Dee as Robinson’s wife Rachel.
