Brochure of the Chunichi Dragons who trained in Dodgertown – Vero Beach, Florida in 1988

This colorful brochure commemorates the first visit of the professional Chunichi Dragons to Dodgertown – Vero Beach, Florida in 1988, when they conducted Spring Training workouts. The instruction by the Dodgers’ staff was valuable to the Dragons team as they won the 1988 Central League pennant, their first pennant in six seasons. Note the Dragons used a similar script logo, patterned after the Dodgers.
