Dodger tie bar with Brooklyn “B” cap logo

1956

As a traditional media gift, World Series press pins are created in limited quantities by the two competing teams. For the 1956 World Series, instead of a customary pin back, the Dodgers created a tie bar with the Brooklyn “B” logo cap on it. Because the 1956 Dodgers Goodwill Tour to Japan started right after the World Series was completed, the Dodgers also designed rare tie bars with “Japan 1956” on them to distribute.
