International Clock, gift to Peter O’Malley for the USA vs. Japan Collegiate Baseball All-Star Series

This international clock was presented as a gift of appreciation to Peter O’Malley, President, Los Angeles Dodgers, 1970-1998, from the Asahi Shimbun newspaper and the USA vs. Japan Collegiate Baseball All-Star Series. O’Malley was an early supporter of the series, with games played at Dodger Stadium in 1973, 1977, 1980, 1982 and 2000. In 2019, in the 43rd edition of the Series, Japan won Game 5 to clinch the Series, 3 games to 2, winning for the 16th consecutive time on its home soil over the last 40 years.
