Sadaharu Oh medallion

Sadaharu Oh, considered to be Japan’s greatest baseball player, is commemorated in this medallion. Dodger President Peter O’Malley presented these medallions to Dodger executives upon his return from Japan. On the front side is the engraved likeness of Oh. Oh played for 11 Japan Series championship teams with the Tokyo Yomiuri Giants and was elected as the Central League Most Valuable Player nine times.
