Highly-respected columnist Sotaro Suzuki, who was instrumental in arranging both Dodger Goodwill Tours to Japan, as well as other major league team tours, presents this white board commemorating Tokyo Yomiuri Giants slugger Sadaharu Oh’s 800th career home run on August 30, 1978. Suzuki had Oh autograph it and then wrote “cordially presented to Mr. Peter O’Malley”.
